WOMEN:

“Women Empowered” is a ministry that invites women into a journey of transformation, building strong relationships with each other as they pursue full devotion to Jesus through friendships, studies, and shared experiences.  We all come from different walks of life but our hearts’ desire is to keep moving closer to God and the destiny he’s written for us. As we connect and share life together, there’s hope and strength in knowing we’re not on this road alone.  

MEN: 

The “Band of Brothers” ministry encourages men of all ages and backgrounds to become more like Christ through study, camaraderie and adventure.  We recognize the need for men to be challenged by other men just as iron sharpens iron. We’re determined to be the strong, courageous men God has called us to be in our families, careers and our church. 

NURSERY:

The Nursery is a ministry available to infants and toddlers on Sunday mornings during both 9:15 and 11:15 services.  It is designed for children under the age of 3 1/2 years and incorporates a song based curriculum as well as structured play.  Parents are welcome to drop their children off after Worship and enjoy the remainder of the service or stay with their child. Parents who choose to stay are encouraged to become active participants in the Nursery experience. 

IGNITE a Generation

When something is on fire not only can you see it from miles away, but it spreads quickly. Our vision is to spark a flame in the hearts of our young people that will Ignite an entire generation to do great things for God.

We walk beside our youth through life to help them grow to become more like Jesus. We encourage them to use their gifts and talents to serve God and to live to make God smile. This is a place where they can feel Gods love and acceptance while having a little fun and learning to be the person God created them to be.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

 

The purpose of Celebrate Recovery at The Journey Church is to fellowship and celebrate God´s healing power in our lives through the Christ Centered 12 steps and the 8 biblical Recovery Principles. This experience allows us to "be changed." We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God´s grace in solving our lives´ problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.

Celebrate Recovery meets: 

Every Monday Night at 6:30 pm

6:30-7:00 p.m. - Fellowship 

7:15-8:15 p.m. - Large Group Session.  Everyone meets together for a time of worship then a teaching or a testimony in the Sunday School wing. 

8:15- 9:00 p.m. - Open Share Groups. This is the time to break into gender specific recovery groups and share and hear from others with similar hurts, hang-ups and habits.
